Family Christmas

I hope you all had a good Christmas.

I spent Christmas Day at my parent's house with my family and we all had a lovely time.

The table was set for dinner.

We all opened our presents in the morning and my father had these slippers!!

We had the traditional turkey and Christmas pudding for dinner.

This little elf couldn't wait for the pudding to be served so decided to help himself!

On the Sunday it was my turn and everyone came to my place for lunch.

One of my Christmas presents was a CK cake stand so I made good use of it with my Nigella Lawson rocky road.

Rufus enjoyed playing with the streamers.

And...after I'd complained about not having any snow in Shropshire....we eventually had some on the night before Christmas eve.

  14. HI! I loved seeing your family christmas photos. Made me think so much of my own family gathering together over the years, but me being too far away to join them! How much i gave up when I moved to Europe, so far from home. :-(

Your dad's slippers are a hoot! I love it when there are fun presents like that under the tree, ones that give everyone there a reason to really smile!

The table was beautifully set. Seemed like a wonderful day from start to finish, and lunch at your house the next day. Snow adding the final wonderful touch! I wish you all good things in the New Year!! ~~ Debby

  15. Looks like you had a lovely Christmas celebration with your family. I made a sherry trifle for Christmas Eve (is that the same as pudding?) and we also had crackers (or poppers) for each meal - not something usual here in GA. We all wear the paper hats and read our riddles to each other (fun). Enjoyed your photos.
